Parks & Grounds / Compost

Description:

In the event of an after hours emergency, residents should call the Orchard Park Police at 662-6444.

The Town of Orchard Park Parks & Grounds Department is located at 6909 Milestrip Road near the Soccer Complex. The department’s hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The department consists of four employees who maintain 850 acres of town property and eight town parks. We handle all aspects of parks maintenance — anything from water and building maintenance to mowing, trimming, snowplowing, and beautification. We also handle tree removal and planting in our parks. In 2026, our department was honored to assist with the Veteran Banners program and now hangs all veteran banners in town. Thank you to all who served.

The following information is intended to be helpful to residents and to enable the department and residents to work together to make the services being provided as effective and economical as possible.
